Eligibility: Junior scientists aged below 35 years and UP UK IAMM members.

Oral Presentation Abstract Submission
Submit your abstract along with your full-length paper for a chance to present your research and compete for the prestigious Junior Scientist Awards. All presenting authors must be a Life Member or Annual Member of UP UK IAMM.
Poster Presentation Awards
Compete for the following categories and showcase your scientific work:

Instructions for Abstract Submission for Free Oral/ Poster Presentations
- Abstract submission deadline: Last date for Abstract Submission is 31st December 2024 . No abstracts will be accepted after this date.
- It is MANDATORY for presenting author to be registered for UP-UK MICROCON 2025.
- Abstracts must be original and should not have been published previously in any conference proceedings or journals.
- The presenting author should be the first author.
- All abstract submissions to be made online in the link provided at the end of the page and in the given email id.
- Please indicate your preference for either an oral or poster presentation in your submission. You will receive an email confirmation once your submission has been processed.
- Abstracts will be reviewed by the UP-UK MICROCON 2025 scientific committee & the committee holds the right to accept/reject or to consider an abstract either for oral or poster presentation. The decision of the scientific committee shall be final.
- The mode of presentation whether Oral or Poster will be notified by 15th January 2025.
- Certificates will be awarded EXCLUSIVELY to the presenting author.
- Awards will be given to presenting author in various categories & subcategories.
Guide to Abstract Submission
- Your abstract should be a word document (.doc, .docx file) exceeding not more than 5MB of file size and should be well structured (No graphics, images or tables to be used). See Abstract template provided for details.
- You need to submit the name, institutional affiliation & contact information of the presenting as well as the co-authors.
- The presenting author should highlight his/her name by bold letters and underlining.
- Please ensure the email address & mobile number of the presenting author is accurate, as this will be the sole method of communication regarding acceptance.
- Submitting authors are responsible for ensuring that spelling, grammar, and terminology are accurate, as well as confirming that the work is free from plagiarism.
- Abstracts once submitted cannot be edited.
- Guidelines for power point oral presentation / poster presentation will be released in due course.

Guidelines for oral presentation
- Presenters should bring their oral presentations in a pen drive.
- Presenters can submit their presentations in advance via email to the official address at upukmicrocon2025@gmail.com.
- A laptop and projector will be supplied by the organizers.
- Each presenter should check and upload their presentation at the registration counter, preferably during the registration process.
- Each presenter will be allocated a maximum time slot of 5 minutes for their presentation.
- The timing guidelines will be strictly adhered to during the session.

Guidelines for Poster presentation
- Acceptable fonts: Times New Roman
- The poster title should be prominently displayed at the top, along with the names of the author and co-authors, as well as their affiliations.
- The posters should be 3ft (wide) X 4 ft (height) size in portrait mode.
- Poster boards and mounting supplies will be available at the conference venue; however, it is the responsibility of each presenter to affix their own poster in the designated area.
